MEET BARB SMITH
Job Search Coach
Barb Smith is a Human Resources Professional with over 20 years experience in
diverse roles.
Working for a major dairy processor, Barb provided Human Resources services in
the areas of Recruitment and Selection, Training and Development and Employee
Relations.
Barb has a deep understanding of the restructuring/downsizing experience,
having received her "invitation to leave" in 1995. Since opening her consulting
practice, Barb has developed and delivered workshops and seminars related to
job search skills, career management, interpersonal dynamics and teambuilding.

She also consults with the business, industry, and social service sectors to
increase employee job satisfaction through participation. Her public speaking
engagements include the Industrial Accident Prevention Association (IAPA)
Annual Conference and the Human Resources Professionals of London and District
(HRPLD). Barb is a qualified facilitator of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator,
the Birkman First Look and the FIRO-B.
Throughout her career, Barb's focus has been job satisfaction and that is the
goal she has for each of her coaching clients.
